About Me.
About Me.

I graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Arts (Honors)
in Economics with a Political Science minor.
My research fields focus on time-series econometrics, forecasting, and
empirical macroeconomics.
I am interested in the application of machine learning to problems
related to macroeconomic forecasting and time-series econometrics.
Furthermore, I am interested in the software development of tools
relevant to economic analysis.
Shortly after completing my studies at the University of Alberta,
I worked at a regional development agency called Western Economic Diversification (WD/DEO), now called PrairiesCan, as a Junior Economist.
After working at WD-DEO for a year, I joined the Bank of Canada as a
Research Assistant from August 2021 until July 2023.
I am currently completing my Master of Arts in Economics at the University of Toronto.
I am a first-generation Filipino-Canadian. I grew up in the Philippines,
at the beautiful city of San Fernando, La Union.
I currently reside in Toronto, ON.
